Stormy.

We woke this morning to the sight of sheets of rain going across the garden and the trees waving wildly in the wind. We spent the morning on a final tidy up as our friends were on their way down to stay. They arrived this afternoon in time for some home-made chicken soup. It was only as I was turning off the Christmas tree lights that I realized I had forgotten to blog, hence the brief post.
