Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Worn Out Already.

We've lost the glorious sunshine and are back to grey skies and even a little rain this evening. There was a pretty sunset in muted pinks and purples.
The working week started calmly enough but by the end of the afternoon I was feeling frazzled again. Normally I'm quite laid back but there seemed to be a spate of things being broken by the children, children being unkind and generally extra noisy. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

On the brighter side here are some of the garden flowers in yesterday's sunshine.

You are right - tomorrow is a new day so no point worrying about the one that's just passed. Hold the knowledge it will get lighter, brighter and a whole lot warmer than it is in New Zealand.

BTW - when you do come, don't do what I did and end up with two winters in one year!
