Overcast.

No sign of the sun today but at least it has been dry, We had another late night Balderdash session last night but managed to get up at a more sensible time. 

As it wasn't actually raining we decided to go for a walk along the beach.Once we had parked Barricane beach was deemed too small for a walk so we walked over to Woolacombe and then right along the beach down to Putsborough.

After tea and coffee at one of the new picnic tables, next to the sign that said only food & drink bought at the beach cafe could be consumed at those tables, Hah! we retraced our steps and walked back to Woolacombe. For once Milo the dog could be let off the lead as there was nowhere for him to run away to and eventually he got quite worn out,

In total we walked about 6 miles at a fair speed which was not bad going for a pair of old codgers with arthritic knees. At least it gave everyone a good appetite for our supper of meatloaf, red cabbage, swede & carrot mash and mashed potatoes.
