Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Snowflakes.

It was lovely lying in bed this morning watching fat snowflakes drifting past the window. Disappointing then that they melted into nothingness as they hit the ground. Later on we had a little sleet and hail but that didn't settle either. My half hour stint outside saw more of the long grass cleared from the primroses on the bank. Bit by bit it will get done.
For the rest of the time I stayed in the warm kitchen taking plates, glassware, jugs and ornaments (mostly rabbits) off the shelves and giving everything a wash. Peter had expressed a desire for some biscuits and  as he so seldom asks for something sweet I baked some chocolate cookies. I also got a bit more knitting done and  did some guitar practise. Once again Peter's watching the rugby in here, Wales vs England I think, so I may head back into the kitchen until it is over.

Love the picture of the Robin. I've seen quite a few robins on different blogs this evening.
Oh my those chocolate cookies look delicious.
