Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Dry.

We've come to the time of year when the setting sun is hidden around the corner, we'd have to walk down to the beach to get our sunset fix, but for a brief moment last night the windows of the beach houses blazed with reflected glory.
Today has been grey and dry but not too cold.
This morning Peter used the big hammer drill to break up the concrete in the herb garden which took him just over an hour. That included making some holes in the concrete base across the end of the garden that the giant shed stood on. If nothing else I've noticed that after heavy rain water gets trapped on the concrete. The holes will give the water a way out. With the big paving slabs (that the builders moved,) making a central path my plan is to cover the concrete with garden pebbles with some plants growing down through today's holes.
After our Welsh Zoom class while Peter returned the drill I had my turn in the garden bagging the broken up concrete and bashing a few stubborn lumps that didn't want to leave the ground.
Having got my head around the first 50 words in our Welsh text books part of our homework for next week is to start learning the vocabulary for the next unit, another 60 words!
