It must have dropped to freezing again last night as the icicle fountain had reappeared amongst the honeysuckle. It was more of a grey day today but I still managed to spend the afternoon outside. Instead of shredding a great pile of papers I decided to have a bonfire. While the papers were burning I started some weeding and added the dry grasses and stalks. Seeing as how there was now a decent fire I got to work pulling out and cutting back the dreaded brambles that take over the minute your back is turned. They all went on the fire as well and even if they didn't burn today there might be another dry spell when I can have another conflagration.
