Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Warm.

It was a misty start to the day.
Perfect for taking pictures of spiders' webs.
Once the sun had burnt off the mist we took ourselves off for a walk.
First down to the dappled shade of the valley,
and then out into the bright sun heading towards Bennet's Mouth.
There we stopped to drink our coffee with the sound of the stream rushing over the rocks and the warm sun making it feel like a summer's day.
Then a little exercise as we climbed up the steep path to the top of the cliff.
Instead of carrying on around the coast we turned inland at the lighthouse and took the track back to Mortehoe.
It was still warm when we got home but instead of gardening I finished off putting the puzzle together. And guess what? There is 1 piece missing. I've checked everywhere but can't see it. Apparently you can send off to the makers for a replacement piece so I'll have to do that.
