Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Beach Walk.

It was bright and sunny this morning so we took ourselves off for a stroll along the beach. There was a bitter wind blowing in dark clouds but the promised rain has yet to arrive.
It was good to be out in the fresh air, exploring the rock pools and enjoying a cup of coffee. There were about 8 other people on the beach during our stroll along with a couple of small dogs but it was still pretty peaceful.
Up on the road the old house we had often speculated about is finally on the market. Somebody will need very deep pockets to buy and then restore the dilapidated building. No doubt it will be turned into holiday apartments as that seems to have been the fate of most of the large houses in the area.

I was a bit naughty and teased the snakelocks anemones by dropping little pieces of shell into the water.
