Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Happy Birthday Romas. (For Yesterday)

We had heavy rain yesterday evening and lost the Internet, again! So here is Romas' birthday post, a day late.
Romas is now in his 3rd year of his music degree at Keele University, working hard (I hope), and is the drummer for the band Dead Radio Society.

From what I see on Facebook the band plays gigs most weekends and they have been interviewed on local radio and for the local papers. They have also released an EP.

Romas does also have a part-time job working as security (bouncer?) in the Students' Union.

Romas has continued fighting Civil War battles with the Sealed Knot in Rivers' regt with Vytas and our friends Sam and Kate. Maybe one day Romas will actually turn up with all the kit he needs, he's still a tad disorganised when it comes to going away for the weekend.

Romas' other half is the lovely Vicky and they had a memorable holiday in Jamaica with her family.

Romas met many of Vicky's friends, saw the sights, got his open water diving certificate and ate lots of wonderful food.

Romas is a great fan of open air cooking,

eating anywhere ....

............. drinking ,

and more eating.

Have a wonderful final year at university Romas.

Finally, thank you to all the people whose Facebook photos I copy into my family albums. They give me a little insight into what the family are doing in our widely spread lives.
