Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Grey And Wet.

A lot of rain today. It was very strange turning up at school at lunchtime and then spending the afternoon doing planning. I'm so pleased with the fact that by 4.30 I had completed all the planning for next week and so will not need to spend time at home doing school work. It's great working with Chris as she loves being organised and this has spurred me on to be as efficient. As we do the same work in both classes this means we can split some of the tasks and share resources as well as ideas.
In the morning I went and saw my doctor and she thinks a lot of the shoulder problem may be caused by problems in the neck. She wants the physio to work on my neck and I have to mention my shoulder/neck to the ortho specialist when I see him about my hip/back. Mind you I'm not that confident in my GP as she seems to take the easy option and isn't that thorough. Afterwards I treated myself to some retail therapy. I've ordered all the materials needed to reroof the shed and build a set of doors for the front, and cement and slabs to build some steps to my scree garden. We're only doing basic tidying up jobs but there are plenty of those both inside and outside the house. I also indulged my fondness for fluffy things and bought a fluffy black bodywarmer and a pink very fluffy dressing gown to keep cosy in on these cooler evenings.
