It's been very mild today, no rain at all and the very occasional brief glimpse of the sun.
The main event of the day was the arrival of the sitting room rug. While I much prefer the clean uncluttered look of the bare floor I'm hoping the rug will help prevent the cold from creeping up through the floor to my hypersensitive feet. As soon as things begin to warm up again in the spring the rug can be put away until it's needed once more.
I saw this amusing succulent in Lidl last week and having thought about it asked Pete to get it for me next time he was in town, which he did. I think it looks like seaweed.
Most of my day was spent sewing. I finished sewing in the zips for both cushions by hand and then completed one with the sewing machine. There were so many seams to do that I'd rather lost the will to live by the time I'd finished the first cushion and left the second for another day.
This is a short FB reel from kettlebells last night (I'm hiding at the back) taken when we did some HIT work. Kettlebells are hard without doing HIT as well enough though to be fair Rachel always reminds us to use a lighter kettlebell or change to a soft ball if we have an injury or if it's getting too much. I did use a ball to take the strain off my dodgy shoulder but my back is feeling delicate today. It's all a matter of balancing the benefits against the aches and pains. I have a suspicion I should be doing more especially with the kettlebell rather than less.
And on a lighter note this is what we got up to in disco aerobics last week and yes, that's me right at the front.
This evening I'll be off for a evening of singing. Exercise for the brain cells rather than the rest of me.

Well you seem to be having a good time at your class. I tend to give exercise a miss but I think it is the part where you have to go out on a cold night that puts me off.
Rachel puts a lot of short reels on FB with exercises to do at home and there's also a paid on-line course with classes and talks that you can do live or in your own time. I've saved a few of the short reels to do at home when there aren't any classes in the Hall. I do them sometimes.
