Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Chilly.

Cold and windy again today. At least the towels hanging out on the line should be dry by the time I bring them in.
It's fairly common to see a single red kite slowly cruising along the cliff but this morning I looked up, saw one and then another and then two more all circling round above Aberwennol (the next small inlet along). There must have been some kind of food source down below.
I spent the morning working on my Welsh in preparation for the Zoom class and it stood me in good stead as we spent the whole lesson chatting in small groups. We used some prompt questions which were all about shopping, mixing past, present and future tenses. We're getting much better at expanding our sentences and asking each other supplementary questions. And I now know how to say 'water snails' malwod dwr and 'blanket weed' chwyn blanced. During the lesson my picture kept freezing every time we went into a breakout room and at one point I lost it altogether. I fixed it by the age old method of unplugging and plugging back in again.

Too cold to do more than have a quick wander around the garden counting the number of different varieties of flower to be seen, 13. Even if it's only one or two blooms per plant it's a sign of the cheery spring garden soon to come.
Most of the bulbs in the garden were here originally. I rescued them and moved them to fit in with the new garden.
Off later on to disco aerobics. That is once I've done my third set of squats for the day.
