It was a pretty day even at 4.00 in the morning. I thought about starting my day then but instead went back to bed and slept for four hours. So I must have needed the sleep.
The rest of the day has been sunny and warm adding to the Mediterranean feel of the completed front garden. At least in my eyes.
£75 was the cost of my dental check up and I spent no more than five minutes in the chair. That's a pretty good rate he's earning. He looked at my teeth, told the nurse what each tooth was for the record and then gave my gums a few pokes before declaring that all was well. The rest of the five minutes was spent discussing the repair work I'll be having done on my upper front teeth. I've had to pay for that in advance too, an eye watering £2,065.
I cheered up when I found these three wine cups (will use them for sauces) for £1 each in a charity shop. They will go nicely with the other 'carp' bowls we have.
While I was in town I did some shopping at Lidl stocking up on the basics as I won't go shopping next week.
At home I did a little gardening, mainly tying in clematis and then the ironing before sitting out for half an hour. This evening I've been to choir and drove home in time to see another lovely sunset.

We had similar days. I too went to the dentist and then visited a shop in town and put a little something for myself. :) It isn't cheap going to the dentist!!!
