Less sun today but still dry and almost warm.
We've had one builder here all day and he has completed the paving. He cut some narrow strips to fill the gaps down the side and coloured the mortar that he used around the perimeter so that it matches the buff paving slabs. I have to say I am very pleased with the whole thing.
I put back some of the pots but will give today's work time to harden before having a proper tidy up.
While the builder worked outside, sometimes in clouds of dust from cutting the slabs, I've mainly stayed in my study. I made seven bats with the umbrella fabric I used for the Balrog and have been collating photos on my pc so that I can make a photo book showing how this place has changed since we bought it. I find photos really keep memories fresh and the books are good for special topics.
Peter had to go into town this morning and came home with some fresh salmon from the reduced shelf which is now cooking in the oven for our supper. The salmon was seasoned and I've made foil parcels with red peppers, onion and garlic which will be served with green beans and cauliflower. Peter will have pasta too but I'm trying hard to stick to my diet before my hospital treatment. (Shouldn't really have had that cake yesterday.)
