Sunny.

It rained in the night then was cloudy in the morning followed by a sunny afternoon. That's not a bad combination.

My day has been spent tidying the front garden. Sand has been swept off the path, plants untied and broken stems (of which there were not too many) removed. At the same time I deadheaded the thrift, planted a carex in the big planter and an iris by the pond. 

I cleared the shingle from the flowerbed and all that's left to do is deal with the sand that was swept onto the flowerbed. As my back is still quite delicate I was forced to take a number of breaks on the sun lounger enjoying the sunshine. (Life is so hard.) 

Off soon to Pilates and that's my day done.
