Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Hot Again.

Cheery sunflowers in a neighbour's garden.
The morning clouds disappeared to leave another cloudless and hot afternoon. Peter took the camper to be sorted. Gulp, I hadn't realised that the ding would cost a three figure sum to repair. Never mind. I got right into a cleaning mode today and washed the marble floor in the hall and kitchen. Then I had a second go at the shower trims even resorting to a scalpel to try and scrape down the last dark spots. After that there was still time for us to sit outside and read. It was so nice with the breeze that I did my exercises outside as well. Who cares what the neighbours think? Actually the garden walls are so high that you have to make an effort to see into the gardens on either side and then only from the back bedroom. Luckily the gardens are aligned in such a way that the sun travels overhead and the walls don't cast any shade.
Just listening to the weather forecast which is talking about rain. No need to worry, a band of rain is due over Scotland and Northern Ireland tomorrow and severe thundery showers over the east of the country. Fingers crossed that Saturday is dry for Green Man Day.
