Today has been a wet, grey day. Both of us had appointments today. Mine was a dental check up in the morning. That all went well though hearing unfamiliar terms and numbers for each tooth is kind of worrying. My dentist is a bit scary forthright in her comments so I had used a disclosing tablet last night to make sure my teeth were spotless for the check up. I've decided to go ahead with investigating getting an implant just for cosmetic reasons. I can't say I'm thrilled with having to pay £75 for an appointment with the implant specialist just to find out how much it will cost. All today's dentist could say was that it starts at £2,000. I don't have any choice as I would have to travel to another town to see a different specialist.
Peter's appointment was a post cataract surgery one. No problems there and as the other eye is quite bad he should get the next surgery in weeks rather than months.
This afternoon I began the task of backing up the photo files on my back up external hard drive onto discs. It's a tedious process as I can only get around 150 photos on each disc. With a book in my hand and a cat on my lap I've copied half of 2018. Only another 7 and half years' worth to do.

good idea to back up your photos. I lost all mine when my computer died. I don't really save that many pictures though and Ken was a lot of the same ones his.
Glad Peter's eye is doing well.
I'm due for a dentist check up this month too.
