Welcome to family, friends and visitors. Here you will find interesting (hopefully) pictures of my part of the world, news of our household and probably, long ramblings about anything that catches my interest.

Very Windy.

The weather forecast had been for a rainy day so it was a bonus when it turned out mostly bright. We still had cold winds and when it did rain it was cold enough that we had hail. I did some more lawn clearing, sorted out the drainage on the lower lawn and then retired indoors. After regaling me with more tales of the sea conditions yesterday ie "like a fairground ride" Peter went off again for more rowing. This time it was training on the estuary so even though it was windy conditions were not as dramatic as yesterday.
And now for our regular Sunday viewing of Dancing on Ice while eating supper by a blazing wood fire.
