It's been a grey but incredibly warm day with a lot of moisture in the air. (Trying the new Blogger so please forgive any oddities today.) First thing this morning I could only see as far as the river. It did brighten up with better visibility later but with frequent mizzle in the air and some heavier showers.
It has had to be a rest day today so apart from washing out the recycling bins I haven't done anything of note just some admin. The paperwork for the house sale arrived today which means things are on track, Hooray!
Shan't be using the new Blogger. Apart from this bit of text it was a nightmare editing the rest which is currently white against a white background in the edit version and the photos are on the left though they're in the right place on the published blog.

(Now the text keeps defaulting to blue.) It sounds like things are really going ahead at Red Roofs too. (Can't turn off the underline now.) Something we had asked the builder to do after we failed at the job, was to remove the large shed that goes right across the back garden. This job was made more difficult by the presence of a 'roof' of a well established bush. It turned out that the stem of the bush was growing outside our garden. I thought we backed on to the garden to the left but actually there is a track between the two gardens. We know from the house deeds that we don't have any right of way up this track which I think leads to the small white building to the left of the arrow head. Our builder had tried to contact the owners, even leaving a note through the door to ask for access with no luck. Instead he backed his truck up the drive and attached a chain to the bush. When he drove forward the whole bush peeled off the shed and bounced down the road behind his truck like a giant hedgehog.
Once the shed is gone and the two greenhouses given away the back garden should look a lot better. We had to stop pulling the shed down ourselves at this stage becuae of the danger of the glass breaking and flying through the air. (Just looked at the preview and most of the text is black on black ie invisible so I'm having to write in black and then change the whole block of text to white. Guess I'll be going back to the original Blogger. I did try but this new version doesn't work for me.)

Oh I like the new blogger. Find it easier with less steps for things.
